The Art of New Beginnings: ATL Street Art Tours Relaunch

Art has the power to tell stories, spark change, and connect people—and that’s exactly what I set out to do when I first launched ATL Street Art Tours in 2020. What started as a simple idea to show people that we are more alike than we are different through Atlanta’s vibrant street art culture has grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to introduce individuals and groups to the hidden gems and bold statements painted across the city’s walls. From intricate murals to thought-provoking graffiti, these tours have always been about more than just the art—they’ve been about the artists and the communities that inspire them.

But like any good story, there are chapters of pause and reinvention. I had to step back from the tours for a while as life took me in different directions, including my full-time commitment to serving in the military. The tours slowed, and honestly, I wondered if I’d ever pick them back up.

Then I remembered why I started this in the first place. Art is resilient. Art is transformative. And art gives.

So here we are, preparing to relaunch ATL Street Art Tours for what I hope will be the best season yet!

This isn’t just a relaunch; it’s a reimagination of everything the tours stand for. I’m bringing new energy, new ideas, and a renewed focus on the theme of “Art That Gives”—because art always gives us something, whether it’s inspiration, connection, or even a challenge to see things differently.

Here’s what you can look forward to with the relaunch:

Interactive Experiences: From giving walls to opportunities for reflection, I’m finding new ways to make the tours more engaging and meaningful.

Community Impact: A portion of proceeds will go toward supporting local artists and community projects. Your participation in these tours will directly give back to the neighborhoods and creatives that make Atlanta so special.

Fresh Partnerships: I’m working with local restaurants to make the tours even more memorable by offering food and drink options at the end of each route.

New Dates, New Energy: Tours will be structured around federal holidays, with an expanded schedule to make it easier for groups to join.

The heart of these tours has always been about creating something bigger than a walk through the city. It’s about discovering the layers of stories behind every mural and realizing how those stories connect to your own and how they connect us as people.

Thank you for being part of this journey, whether you’ve joined me for a tour before or are considering it for the first time.

This is more than a relaunch—it’s a celebration of Atlanta, its art, and its people. I can’t wait to see you on the streets this year. Let’s rediscover what art can give.
